BRISTOL -- Fire officials identified the victim in this morning's fatal fire as 76-year-old Shirley Conley.
Crews were called about 7 a.m. when they found the house at 1838 Housel Craft Road engulfed in flames. After extinguishing the blaze firefighters found Conley's body in the back of the house around 8:30 a.m.
Family at the scene speculated that a space heater, which they said the woman was using because she didn't have heat, caused the fire. Fire officials said the cause is still under investigation.
