HOWLAND -Virginia L. Hamblin Waldron passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center, surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born April 18, 1930, in East St. Louis, Ill., a daughter of the late Vernon and Malinda Johnson Hamblin.
Virginia was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish at St. James Church.
She was a very artistic person and enjoyed sewing and baking. Her family was her life.
Her memories will be cherished and she will be sadly missed by her husband, Louis Waldron, whom she married Feb. 2, 1951; two sons, Kenneth R. (Laura) Waldron of Holiday, Fla., and Kevin M. (Megan) Waldron of Niles; three daughters, Malinda J. Palm of Warren, Pamela K. (Raymond) Anderson of Warren and LaDonna L. Lang of Warren; one sister, Hazel Gordon of Illinois; one daughter-in-law, Delilah Waldron of Howland; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by two sons, Dale E. Waldron and Donald L. Waldron, and 11 siblings.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road N.E., Warren, OH 44483, where a funeral service will be offered at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Jeffrey Stealey officiating.
Interment will follow in Niles City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Virginia's name.
