Angelo said as the light was changing, she had trouble coming to a stop due to the icy condition of the road and her car slid under the trailer.
Hubbard Township police and fire responded to the crash but, upon assessing the situation, called Watson Towing to extract Angelo's vehicle.
Hubbard Township police Sgt. Dominick Guarino said there were no injuries, and the scene of the crash was cleared around 10 a.m.
This isn't the first time Guarino has seen a vehicle wedged under a tractor trailer.
"I've been doing this for 28 years. I wouldn't say it was common, but it happens. With all the truck traffic that goes through here and the three truck stops, we see accidents like this," he said.
