MATHEWS 65, MINERAL RIDGE 64: MINERAL RIDGE - A fourth-quarter Mineral Ridge rally tied the game to send it to overtime, but Mathews prevailed in the extra frame, giving the Mustangs the victory.
Mathews led 44-37 heading into the fourth quarter before the Rams tied it up.
The game could have been won at the free-throw line for Mineral Ridge, as it shot 28 of 40 from the charity stripe. Alyssa Harkins led all scorers with 29 points. Adrianna Reese had a double-double of 24 points and 17 rebounds.
Maddie Williams had the high game for Mathews with 21 points. Dayna Ellis added 20.
HOWLAND 50, CARDINAL MOONEY 43: YOUNGSTOWN - The Tigers had a big night from 3-point range en route to the non-conference win over the Cardinals.
Victoria Rappach had a career night for Howland. She drained six of Howland's nine 3-pointers. Her 18 points was a team and career high.
Also for Howland, Trisha Ginnis scored eight points and had a team-best six assists. The Tigers are now 6-5 on the season.
Jamie DiDomenico and Maggie Monahan each had 13 points for the Cardinals (4-3).
SPRINGFIELD 53, POLAND 48: POLAND - Springfield jumped to an 18-5 lead in the first quarter and cruised from there to get the non-conference victory.
Baylee Felger paced the Tigers (8-2) with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Jillian Tabaka added 14.
Korinna Sherman led Poland (4-5) with 10 points.
BRISTOL 50, BERKSHIRE 42: BERKSHIRE - Down by 15 points at halftime, the Panthers stormed back to pull off a come-from-behind win over the Badgers in the Berkshire Holiday Classic.
Bristol (5-5) trailed for most of the game, but the Panthers outscored Berkshire, 33-14, in the second half, including a 22-6 fourth quarter. Lauren Elza led the way, scoring nine of her 15 points late to help Bristol complete the comeback win.
Lindsey Elza contributed with eight of Bristol's 16 steals, while Kylie Stoneman contributed a game-high 17 points in the winning effort.
