APOPKA, Fla. - Roberta "Bobbie" VanScoy Matteson, 81, of Apopka, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Bobbie was born March 22, 1932, to the late MaryBelle and Guy VanScoy.
She was a graduate of Leavittsburg High School. Bobbie then went on to receive her LPN and worked at hospitals and private duty nursing in Ohio and Florida.
Loving memories of Bobbie are held by her four daughters and son, Victoria (Paul) Webb, Sean (Gabriela) Matteson, Robin (Robert) Kuzenko, Kimberly Dillon and Mitzi Taylor. Bobbie also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, JoAnne Wojnarski, Dorothy Kellett and Wanita Hock.
Bobbie was known for her absolute love of travel and adventure, beautiful floral arrangements and her thoughtful and caring ways. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and especially by daughter Victoria, who was Bobbie's constant companion and caregiver.

Cremation arrangements were performed by DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory in Maitland, FL. A remembrance service will take place in Florida and the family is also planning a memorial service to be held in Ohio later in 2014.
