FILL A CRUISER FUNDRAISER: The Newton Falls Police Department will hold the annual Fill A Cruiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday during the Community Christmas at the Newton Falls Community Center, 52 E. Quarry St. Donations will stay within local pantries to assist the Veterans Pantry. Any monetary donations will benefit future Kids 'N Cops events.
FALLS HOLDS COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS: Newton Falls will hold its Community Christmas arts and craft show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at 52 E. Quarry St. Santa Claus will arrive at 2:30 p.m. The event will include a basket raffle, 50-50, crafters and food. There will be a collection for Toys for Tots, Veterans Pantry and local food drive.
MISSION HOLDS EVENT: The Warren Family Mission will host a Winter Fest, an event for children ages 12 and younger, from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the 361 Elm Road location. The event is free with activities and breakfast.
NATIVITY PLANNED: First Community Church of Leavittsburg, 4640 W. Market St., will perform a drive thru live nativity from 5 to 8 p.m. today and Saturday. Free soup, cookies, coffee and hot chocolate will be provided.
DISTRICT SHOWS MOVIE: Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a free family movie night at 6:30 p.m. today at Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center located at 520 W. Main Street, Cortland. This film, about Christmas in Yellowstone National Park, is family friendly and content appropriate for all ages. Light refreshments will be provided. DRAWING SET: The drawing for the Trumbull Mobile Meals / Thom Duma blue and white diamond ring will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Eastwood Mall in the Sears concourse. Seventeen themed baskets are on display daily at the mall until Saturday night. Tickets can be purchased at the mall or at the TMM office, 323 E. Market Street, Warren.
HOLIDAY MUSICAL: Coleman Chapel CME Church in Warren will hold a holiday musical featuring area church choirs and male chorus at 1 p.m. Saturday. There will be a raffle drawing for a 32" flat screen television, tablet or digital camera. Tickets are still available before the program. A lunch will be at the community center.
FUNDRAISER SET: Priceless Treasures Young Ladies Mentoring Program will host a fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at Bob Evans, 5413 Youngstown Warren Road. CHILDREN TO SEE SANTA: Visiting with Santa Claus each Christmas season is a rite of passage for many children. But for those with autism and others highly sensitive to noise, light and sound, the process can be overwhelming. The Autism Society of Ohio, Mahoning Valley has collaborated with the Eastwood Mall for a special Caring Santa event from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday in the main concourse. The event is free.
