NILES - Frances "Flo" Marhulik, 76, of Niles died 7:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Sunrise of Poland assisted living.
Flo was born Nov. 7, 1937, in Smock, Pa., the daughter of Frank and Ella Fudala Kieta.
She was a 1955 graduate of Uniontown High School and worked for 30 years as a client supervisor for the Fairhaven Sheltered Workshop.
Flo was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles and volunteered for the Trumbull County Election Board as a poll worker, St. Joe's at the mall and as a union counselor.
She enjoy traveling and loved her grandchildren, attending all of their functions.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Joseph Marhulik, whom she married May 26, 1956; three sons, Joseph (Cathy) Marhulik of Champion, James (Kathleen) Marhulik of Waterford, Mich., and John (Nancy) Marhulik of Niles; three brothers, Frank (Margaret) Kieta of Dunbar, Pa., Bernard Kieta of Smock, Pa., and Richard (Joanne) Kieta of Smock, Pa.; three sisters, Anne Sagosky of Uniontown, Pa., Lorraine Budd of Connellsville, Pa., and Lillian (Richard) Wheeler of Strongsville; seven grandchildren, Joseph (Jessica Champion), John (Heather), Samuel, Katherine (Calib Willis), Allison, Benjamin and Max; and a great-grandson, Matthew.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Kieta. .
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles officiated by Father John-Michael Lavelle.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
