WARREN -- City police have charged a teenager in connection with Sunday's armed robbery and shooting outside a local beverage store.
Christopher Jackson, 16, is charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery. He is being held at the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center in Warren.
He is accused of wounding Shane Stein, 17, outside of Atlantic Beverages at the intersection of Atlantic Street and Pine Avenue.
Stein was shot in the elbow.
Jackson turned himself in to police Tuesday afternoon after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Meanwhile, police have in custody a person of interest in Monday's fatal shooting of Khaled Nasser, 22, who was killed at the store.
Nasser was taken to a hospital where he later died. Police have not said how the person of interest, apprehended during a police chase Tuesday, may be connected to the shooting. Police said they are not releasing the individual's name because he was not been charged.
