NILES - Howard L. "Buzzy' Narotsky, 69, of Niles, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Humility of Mary Hospice House after a brief illness.
He was born July 17, 1944 in Warren, the son of Max and Edith Rubenstein Narotsky.
Buzzy, as he was known to all his friends, was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and worked in the shipping department of WCI Steel Co., retiring in 2007 after 37 years of service.
He enjoyed gardening, black jack, playing Scrabble with his friends, crossword puzzles, doo-wop music, and a good cigar. He always cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.
Buzzy is survived by his wife, Elaine Ruggeri Narotsky, whom he married on Sept. 8, 1968, a son Mark (Monica) Narotsky of Niles; grandchildren Max Narotsky, Alexandria Narotsky and Leah Narotsky; a daughter-in-law, Tracy (Todd) Ishee and son T.J.; and sister, Rolinda Bernstien of St. Louis, Mo.
He was preceded in death by a son David Narotsky, who passed away in 1994.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m.
Interment will be in Niles City Cemetery.
