NEWTON FALLS - Jeanne L. Beach, 88, of Newton Falls, entered into rest on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Laurie Ann Nursing Home.
On March 11, 1925, in Warren, William A. and Bertha M. Adams Roby welcomed the birth of their daughter, Jeanne.
She was a 1943 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and resided in Newton Falls since 1963. Jeanne worked at both Herberts and Allens Drug Stores in Newton Falls for 25 years, retiring from her duties in 1987. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidery and playing cards with her friends.
Jeanne was a longtime member of First Congregational Church of Newton Falls, where she was a Life Deacon.
She was united into marriage with Robert M. Beach on Sept. 14, 1963. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1994.
Cherished memories of Jeanne will be carried on by her daughters, Marilyn J. (William) Kemm of Hampden, Maine, Marcia L. (William) Lipczynski of Leavittsburg, Christine M. Roby of Brewer, Maine, Paula J. (Kevin) Jones of Whitefish, Mont., and Elizabeth A. (Ronald) Achenbach of Howland; stepson, Richard Beach of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; stepson, Gary Beach; brother, Robert Roby; and sisters, Betty Gothard and Kay Bailes.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Congregational Church of Newton Falls, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Jeanne will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert, in Newton Township Cemetery.
