Benefit planned for Hope Chest

FUNDRAISER TO HELP ARIANNA'S HOPE CHEST: Arianna's Hope Chest will hold a benefit fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 1029 N. Main St., Niles. The organization was founded by Beverly Cross-Thomas and Rick Thomas and their daughter Savanna, in memory of Arianna Hope, who passed away on Jan. 19, 2012. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, also known as Edward's Syndrome. The organization will help families who face the loss of a child. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Haslinger Palliative Care Team at Akron Children's Hospital. Arianna's Hope Chest will also be putting together care packages for families. There will be a Chinese auction. Anyone who would like to donate a basket, or items for a basket or even monetary donations call 330-544-1974.
