SOCIETY SPONSORS RAFFLE: The Girard Historical Society which maintains the Barnhisel House, 1011 N. State St., Girard, is sponsoring a calico quilt raffle on Sunday. The handmade quilt has 20 quilt blocks made by Blanche Fonderlin.

HUBBARD STUDENTS HOLD PLAY: The Hubbard High School Drama Club will present "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge" at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the high school auditorium. Tickets are available at door.
DANCING EVENT: John F. Kennedy Catholic School third annual Dancing with the Kennedy Stars will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Kennedy Ballroom, 2550 Central Parkway S.E., Warren.
The event will feature a live dance competition pairing Kennedy stars with professional ballroom dancers competing for the trophy. There will also be dancing and an auction.

MILITARY MODELS NEEDED: The second annual Betty's Angels Fashion Show "Women of the Military" will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at Trumbull Country Club, 600 Golf Drive, Warren. The event will include an auction, raffle and military displays. Military women and men are needed as models.

GARDENER VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT: Individuals with a strong interest in gardening and enjoy helping others are invited to apply to become an Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener volunteer for Trumbull County.
To become an OSU Extension Master Garden volunteer, individuals must attend 10 training sessions held from February to May at the Trumbull County Agriculture Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland. Each volunteer is asked to volunteer 50 hours of horticultural service to the community through Extension educational programming.
Two informational meetings will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Nov. 21 and 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Dec. 9 at the center. Registration is limited an all applications are due by Jan. 3. Call 330-638-6783 for information or for a complete application packet.
