A couple of "Wicked" singers will join the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra for a pops concert Saturday at Powers Auditorium.
"Wicked Divas" will feature Emily Rozek and Julie Reiber, both veterans of the long-running musical "Wicked," which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary on Broadway.
Rozek played Glinda in the Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical, and her other credits include "Annie Get Your Gun" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie" on Broadway and national tours of "Sunset Boulevard" and "South Pacific."
Reiber played the role of Elphaba both in Los Angeles and on Broadway, and her other Broadway credits include "Priscilla Queen of the Desert," "All Shook Up" and "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever" (opposite Harry Connick Jr.).
For the concert, they will sing selections from "Wicked" as well as such shows as "Gypsy," "Ragtime" and "Titanic" and the opera "Carmen."
The concert starts at 8 p.m. Saturday at Powers Auditorium, 260 W. Federal St., Youngstown.
Tickets range from $40 to $55 and are available at the DeYor Performing Arts Center box office and by calling 330-744-0264.
