Mon., 3:11pm: Elections commission clears Bazetta candidate

November 4, 2013
Tribune Chronicle |

BAZETTA -- Trustee Don Urchek has been cleared by the Ohio Election Commission of all alleged wrongdoings brought against him by election opponent Theodore Webb.

Urchek's lawyer Gill Blair said the first five allegations that Webb brought before a probably cause council on Oct. 24 were dismissed, while a single remaining issue was taken before the full council today and was dismissed.

Most of Webb's qualms revolved around Urchek's political pamphlet listing his accomplishments. The main achievement in question was Urchek's claim to have gained access over a set of railroad tracks to the site of the future fire station.
