WARREN - Arlene Edith White, 79, of Warren, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 10, 1934, in Turner, Mich., the daughter of Andrew and Jennie Wurster Hively.
Arlene was married to the late John White.
She was a graduate of Arenac Eastern High School, and was employed at St. Joseph Riverside Hospital as an admitting clerk for 26 years.
Arlene enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and crosswords.
Survivors include a son, Delbert L. (Carrie) McElrath; daughters Deborah Breznai, Diana (George) Shimko, and Denise Ingram; her sisters, Vera Smith and Emma Lock; grandchildren, Ande (Larissa), Tony (Ali), Will (Jordan), Jennifer (Jeff), Chris, Lisa (Rob), Bruce, Jessica, Thomas, Stephanie, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Also she was preceded in death by her son, Donald McElrath; and grandson, Adam Campbell.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the Rev. Cynthia Klingemier will officiate.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warren.
