STEUBENVILLE - William Rhinaman said this morning he has hired an Akron attorney with experience in technology to represent him but asked for a continuance because his lawyer was not available for today's pre-trial hearing.

Visiting retired Summit County Judge Patricia Cosgrove agreed to continue his case until Dec. 6.

Cosgrove also set arraignment proceedings for Hannah Rhinaman for Dec. 6.

William Rhinaman is facing charges of including tampering with evidence, obstructing justice, obstructing official business and perjury.

His daughter was released on her own recognizance this morning by Cosgrove after she pleaded not guilty to two charges of receiving stolen property and one charge of theft.

William Rhinaman was indicted two weeks ago by a special Jefferson County Grand Jury that has been meeting since April to determine if additional crimes were committed regarding the Steubenville teen rape case.

Hannah Rhinaman was indicted on Wednesday on charges unrelated to her father's case.

The court appointed Steubenville attorney Stephen Lamatrice to represent Hannah Rhinaman
