WARREN - Shortly before 8:30 a.m., emergency crews removed the body of a man believed shot around 2 a.m. from the scene of an intersection on the city's southwest side.

The crime scene at Risher Road and Palmyra Road S.W. is being actively investigated by several police officers, surrounded by yellow crime scene tape, and police cruisers are blocking the intersection.

A tow truck is preparing to remove a vehicle from the area. Police have not commented, so far, on the incident, but a press conference is expected this afternoon.

This is a developing story. Check back here for more updates.
