WARREN -- A Youngstown woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend in the chest late Wednesday night is being held at the Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Warren police charged Emily Pyles, 25, of 519 Winchester Ave., with felonious assault after her boyfriend, Timothy Brown II, 29, of Lodwick Drive, Warren, told them she stabbed him with a kitchen knife around 11:30 p.m. after the two had argued for about 15 to 20 minutes about another woman, according to a police report. The report indicates that Brown suffered possible internal injury. He was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment. An update on his condition was not available.
Pyles made her initial appearance in Warren Municipal Court on Thursday and is due back in court for a preliminary hearing later this month.
