VALDOSTA, Ga. - Robert "Bob" Cribley, 89, of Valdosta, Ga., formerly of Warren, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Warren, the son of Clifford James and Hilda Marie Rantimake Cribley.
Bob retired in 1965 from the U.S. Air Force, serving during World War II, the Korean War and the Cold War. After retirement, he became an education specialist for the U.S. Naval Training Device Center in Orlando, Fla.
He was a member of Lake Park United Methodist Church
Survivors include his wife, Roselle Bartlett Cribley; five daughters, Elizabeth Stephanie Angel of Sherman, Conn., Candice Ann Carnley of Tallahassee, Fla., Barbara Lynn Oliker of Manhattan Beach, Calif., Michelle Marie Keir of Alachua, Fla., and Heidi Suzanne Carlman of Ocala, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Valdosta, Ga. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Lake Park United Methodist Church.
Burial and military honors will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
