According to the Southington post of the patrol, about 2:45 p.m. Thursday, a 1999 Honda Accord driven by Brandi Cottrell, 21, of Campbell was headed southbound on state Route 7 when it went off the right side of the road.

The car struck a ditch, an embankment then went airborne into a tree.
