FARM FOLIAGE TOUR SET IN HARTFORD: The annual Trumbull County drive-it-yourself farm foliage tour will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in and around Hartford Township. The tour includes agricultural businesses in the area and will be held rain or shine.
Stops include Hartford Center; Hartford Greenhouses; Hartford Orchards; Hartford Township Volunteer Fire Department; Hartford United Methodist Church; and Storeyland Christmas Tree Farm. Maps and brochures of the tour with stops and directions available from the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau and other locations that day.

HUBBARD PLANS PARADE: The Hubbard Schools annual homecoming parade will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, starting at the student parking lot and traveling to old Roosevelt parking lot off Stewart Avenue. There will be booths and tents for various school organizations inside the gates of the football stadium. Those interested in being in the parade or setting up a booth can call 330-534-1921. The king and queen will be crowned at 6:30 p.m. Pictures of past homecomings will be displayed on the scoreboard.
SOCIETY TO HOLD PROGRAM: The Bazetta-Cortland Historical Society will be meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Opera House lower level for a program starting at 7:30 p.m. "Amelia Earhart," presented by Carol Starre-Kmiecik, a Cleveland actress. Starre-Kmiecik, has been performing with her one-woman company, Famous American Women, since 1996. Her characters include Amelia Earhart, Clara Barton, Dorothy Fuldheim and Molly Brown.
PAINTING PUMPKINS PURPLE: A Paint Your Pumpkin Purple for Epilepsy Awareness will be held from 6 to 9 pm. Friday and noon to 3 p.m. with non-haunted hayrides from 1 to 4 pm. Saturday at Boardman Park. The event is being sponsored by Mahoning Valley Epilepsy, and will include pumpkin carving contest. Those attending are to bring carving tools and and newspapers. CHAMPION HOLDING CLOTHES DRIVE: The Champion community is holding its winter clothes drive with the collection being held through Oct. 25. The clothing closet will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 26 at Champion Central Elementary School. Drop off locations are at various churches and businesses in the community.
