WARREN - Lloyd W. Flenoury Sr., 72, of 1190 Julia Drive, died at 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center after an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 31, 1940, in Hamilton, the son of Thomas Roy and Queen Esther Walker Flenoury Sr.
Mr. Flenoury retired as a design engineer from General Motors Corp. Lordstown Complex, and was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.
He was a corporal in the Marines, receiving several honors.
Survivors include three sons, Lloyd W. Flenoury Jr. of Warren, Dwayne M. Flenoury of Lordstown and Christopher D. Flenoury of Strongsville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Kim Davis of Austintown; one brother, Thomas Roy Flenoury Jr. of Cleveland; one sister, Phyllis Knight of Hamilton; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel. Calling hours will be one hour prior to service.
Burial will take place later at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
