NILES - Betty J. Fonderlin, 82, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Autumn Hills Care Center.
Betty was born Dec. 1, 1930, in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of Elza G. and Nova Ramsey Bertram.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Niles and a member of the Rachel Circle of the Church. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, gardening, traveling and Niles sporting events.
Betty worked as the office manager for Dr. Carl Gillette for 27 years.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Paul) Wieda of Fresno, Calif., and Connie (Joe) Cicero of Niles; five grandchildren, Jillian Wieda, Jackie Wieda Murach, Joanna Ciletti Gombos, Robert (Robbie) Ciletti Jr. and Cara Cicero; and a great-grandson, Hank Andrew Murach.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Fonderlin, whom she married on July 30, 1951, a sister Marian Garrett and a brother Elza G. Bertram.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, with the Rev. Nathan Howell officiating.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:30 a.m. till time of service Wednesday.
Interment will be in Niles City Cemetery.
