CIVIL WAR PROGRAM TO RECALL BATTLE: "Chickamauga! High Tide in the West," an award-winning documentary film, will be featured in a program at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Thomas Meeting Room at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave., presented by the Sutliff Museum's Civil War 150 Committee. Local historian Wendell Lauth will talk about "the deadliest battle ever fought on North American soil" and show photographs of the battlefield today. Lauth, a member of the Sutliff's CW 150 Committee, conducts bus tours to Civil War battle sites and recently toured the Chickamauga and Chattanooga battlefields. Maps and charts of the battles will be on display as well as artifacts from the Civil War.
