September 20, 2013
Tribune Chronicle |
A cab driver was taken to St. Joseph Health Center with head trauma after crashing his cab into a cement culvert in a ditch near 4159 Main Ave. S.E., Warren, shortly after noon Thursday. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and his head broke the windshield. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident, including reports that the driver may have had an existing health issue. Julie Marado, of Austintown, who was driving a few cars behind the vehicle said it drifted left of center and off the road. She said he didn’t appear to be speeding or driving erratically. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
