The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra's Stained Glass Concert Series returns for its second season.
The orchestra will perform at six area house of worship during 2013-14. The series is designed to strengthen ties between the community and the orchestra through the performance of informal concerts that introduce the orchestra and the art form and provide opportunities for local artists from neighborhood churches to perform with the orchestra.
The series is underwritten in part by the Charles W. and Sarah J. Syak Foundation with additional support provided by the Howard and Jeanne Karr Charitable Foundation for the Nov. 10 concert.
The concerts will feature music by Vivaldi, Beethoven, Copland, Grieg and Tchaikovsky.
