Library to host weather programs

LIBRARY HOLDS WEATHER WEEK PROGRAMS: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave., Warren, will be hosting a week of free events devoted to weather. At 6:30 p.m. today WKBN meteoroligsts Rich Morgan will talk about "Weather Lore" and Paul Wetzl will talk about "How Weather Happens" at a program focusing on "Our Local Weather Connection." At 6:30 p.m. Thursday is "Ohio's Top 10 Weather Events" presented by Thomas Schmidlin, chair of the Department of Geography at Kent State University. At 2 p.m. on Saturday is Lee Sandlin who will talk about "Stories of Tornado Chasers in History" at the lecture and book signing. Sandlin, of Chicago, is author of "Storm Kings: The Untold History of America's First Tornado Chasers."
