BOARDMAN - Jennie Dolores DeFiore, 92, died Sunday morning, Sept. 8, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Boiano, Campobasso, Italy, the daughter of Faustino and Maria Mastracola D'Ercole.
Jennie was a self-employed hair stylist and a charter member of St. Luke Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph John DeFiore; three children, RoseMarie Patin of Rehoboth Beach, Del., Joseph John Jr. of Poland and Dolores Hellman of Boardman; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lena Romeo of Youngstown and Ellen Hall of Boardman.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Church in Boardman, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home in Boardman. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
