Wed. 2pm: Shooting-suicide probed

The Geauga County Sheriff's Office is investigating a apparent shooting-suicide from Tuesday.

According to a release from the Sheriff Dan McClelland, about 4:40 p.m., deputies received a call of a shooting in Montville Township.

The caller said he was in his garage and had been shot once in the chest and that his assailant then shot himself.

Wounded was David Misosky, 53 of Montville. Dead was Thomas P. Hakli, 59, whose last known address was in Thompson, Ohio.

The sheriff's office and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are handling the case.
