WARREN - Mrs. Pearl Lane, 96, of Warren, died Thursday evening, Aug. 15, 2013, at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren.
She was born Nov. 4, 1916, in Connorville, the daughter of the late Stefan and Mary Pawlock Dragan.
Pearl worked many years ago for the Trumbull County Gasket Co. and was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
Pearl was a member of the Central Christian Church. She served as a volunteer at Eastland Hospital (Warren General Hospital) and Hillside Hospital.
She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and knitting.
She is survived by one son, Robert H. (Kay) Lane of Brighton, Mich.; two grandsons, Robert H. Lane II and Eric Todd (Maegan) Lane; five great-grandchildren, Victoria, Robert III, Abigail, Eric James and Sydney; and one brother, John Dragan of Warren.
Her husband of nearly 50 years, Howard Robert Lane, whom she married Feb. 6, 1937, preceded her in death in 1986. One sister, Annie Raznoff, and two brothers, Pete and Paul Dragan, all preceded in death.
The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Steven P. Brown officiating.
Entombment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park mausoleum in Vienna.
