WESTLAKE - Florence Yova Sinea, 91, formerly from Warren, died peacefully at 1 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at Rae-Ann Skilled Nursing in Westlake.
Flo was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Akron, to Sofia and Kostan Yova.
She married Dan Sinea of Warren on Sept. 23, 1950, and remained his wife until Dan's death in 2005.
Flo was a devout Christian who was a wonderful example of womanhood, motherhood and the art of homemaking, to which she devoted her life.
She was a longtime member of North Park Baptist Church in Warren, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and performed many other duties. She also attended CrossRoads Church in Bay Village.
Flo is survived by three children, Deborah (Lawrence) Zavodney of Cedarville, Diana Sinea of Bay Village and David (Susan) Sinea of Howland. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Sara (Jesse) Campbell, Kristin (Tim) McLaughlin, Daniel, Anna, Julie, Jonathan and Joseph Zavodney. Flo had five great-grandchildren, Lola and Ella Campbell, Micah, Mia and Malachi McLaughlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Mary Yova Pescan, Paul Yova, John Yova and Ann Yova Flora. She was also preceded in death by infant Callia Campbell, another great-granddaughter.
"Flo will be greatly missed and thought of with great love and affection, but we are grateful that she is now at eternal peace with our Lord and loved ones who went before her."
A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
