HOWLAND - Patricia J. Capito, 76, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Patricia was born June 30, 1937, in Warren, the daughter of James A. and Julia Helbling.
She was a graduate of Warren St. Mary's High School. Patricia retired from Gracewood Village in Niles as a cook, previously worked at J.F.K. as a cook and was co-owner with her husband of Pixie Restaurant, across from Warren G. Harding High School, and Pat & Pat's Catering.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church). She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially making her spaghetti sauce every Sunday.
Patricia is survived by four daughters, Elaine Tenney of Howland, Julie (Terry) Steele of Howland, Cecelia Capito of Rockport, Texas, and Lena (Gene) Szegedi of McDonald; six grandchildren, Kendra, Terry (Dawn), Matthew, Mark, Megan and Eugene; and a great-grandson, Brendan Steele.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patsy Capito, whom she married Nov. 7, 1953, and who passed away June 6, 1977; grandson, David Michael Scott; brother, James Helbling; and a sister, Ann Theresa Helbling.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church) with the Rev. Jeffery Stealey officiating.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James Church, 2532 Burton St. S.E., Warren, OH 44484, for Masses.
