Thu. 1:40pm: Furlough days reduced

August 8, 2013
Tribune Chronicle |

VIENNA - Civilian employees at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station will be taking fewer furlough days, thanks to the Department of Defense shifting around some funds.

Originally the employees were going to be forced to take 11 days of unpaid leave, every Monday starting July 15 through September. The furlough days have since been reduced to six days, meaning Monday access to base services for DoD card holders will resume on Aug. 26
