Committees are busy preparing for the third annual fashion show and dinner to benefit the summer workshops at the Art Outreach Gallery at the Eastwood Mall.
The benefit will be held Sept. 19 at Ciminero's Banquet Centre and will include a fashion show, raffle and a dinner. Ticket prices are $25 per person and include dinner and a fashion show that includes styles from Chico's and The Ski Chalet.
''This helps to pay the costs of teachers and supplies,'' said Arlene Frasca, co-chair of the event. ''Children attend the workshops at no cost to them.''

A special grand prize will be raffled as well, Frasca said. The grand prize item is a secret and won't be revealed until the night of the benefit. Only ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the grand prize raffle.
Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Master of Ceremonies for the event will be local television celebrity Susan DeLeo.
The Art Outreach Gallery is located in the Sear's aisle at the Eastwood Mall. The gallery, which has hosted many art and music events over the years is open to the public at no charge from 5 to 9 p.m. Fridays; 1 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. The gallery operates through volunteer assistance and by student members of the Niles McKinley High School Key Club.
The summer children's workshops include art and other classes each summer in June. Students learn various art mediums including crafting, sculpture, painting and more. This year, language classes were offered as well. Professional teachers and artists from Ohio and Pennsylvania are invited to teach students in their areas of expertise.
Hostesses will decorate more than 25 tables for the event. Hostesses are still being sought for tables. To purchase tickets for the benefit or to hostess a table for the event, contact Frasca at 330-652-7781 or co-chair Linda Raschilla at 330-652-7396.
