NORTH JACKSON - Thomas Ellsworth Murray, 78, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
He was born Dec. 22, 1934, in Lordstown, the son of Thomas and Gladys Murray.
Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired crane operator from Republic Steel.
He was a member of First Federated Church and attended Lake Milton Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Cynthia Clegg of Newton Falls, Melissa Roberts of North Jackson, Shereen Mashorda of Austintown, Shelley Derrow of North Jackson and Chardina Mangino of Poland; two sisters, Genevieve Milligan of Lordstown and Marion Butcher of Warren; a brother, William Murray of Warren; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Joy, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
