SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVEAWAY: A free school supply giveaway while supplies last will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Newton Falls American Legion Post, 2025 E. River Road. Children must be present.
The event is sponsored by the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in cooperation with the American Legion.
ADVENTURE IN THE OUTDOORS: The Howland Township Summer Youth Sport and Recreation Program will hold its final camp of the summer from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Aug. 9. The "Outdoor Adventure" is for ages 6 to 13, with athletic shoes and attire required.

ASSOCIATION TO MEET: The Warren Northwest Neighborhood Association trustees and directors will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the American Red Cross Office, Mahoning Avenue, Warren.
CEMETERY TOUR PROGRAM: A tour on Civil War soldiers and individuals buried at Oakhill Cemetery will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the cemetery, 344 Oakhill Ave., Youngstown. The tour will be led by local historian Steffon Wydell Jones. Call 330 -951-6328 for information.
WONDERS OF WATER: The OH WOW! Roger and Gloria Jones Children's Center for Science and Technology in Youngstown will present Wonderful Water from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for fourth to eighth grades and Aug. 8 for preschool to third grade.
There will be a series of small activities that show what water is. A make underwater viewer class is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday for kindergarten to eight grades.
FOOD GIVEAWAY SET: There will be a food giveaway for families with children from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Greater Apostolic Faith Church, 3571 Tod Ave., Warren. The event is being sponsored by the Ohio Association of Food Banks and Gov. John Kasich's committee on community and faith-based initiatives. Warren City Schools food service will distribute the produce.
