WINDSOR -- Two Amish teens were shot Saturday night, a few miles north of the Trumbull County line.
According to the Star Beacon newspaper in Ashtabula, the 16-year-old male and 18-year-old female were checking on musical equipment they had in storage when the property owner and his son fired warning shots, then shot the teens. Both suffered serious wounds.
Kenneth C. Jameson, 61, and his son, Michael C. Jameson, 30, respectively, were arraigned late Monday in Western County Court on four counts each of felonious assault. Bond was set at $250,000 for each of them.
Sheriff William R. Johnson confirmed today that Daniel Burkholder, 18, of Geauga County, and a 17-year-old female from Ashtabula County were still at the Cleveland MetroHealth ICU Unit after being admitted there following the shooting.
