WARREN - Donald C. James, 68, of Warren, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1945, in Warren, a son of the late David E. and Pauline E. Smith James.
He worked for Packard Electric for 15 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Vietnam War.
Donald was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge 295, Cortland Moose Lodge 1012, Legion of the Moose 87, International Wildlife Federation and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy R. James; brother Robert (Jamie) James; sister-in-law Evelyn Wibert; three nephews, David (Michele) James, Jeffrey James and Patrick (Suzanne) James; four nieces, Pamela Leader, Jennifer (Brian) Biggs, Lindsay James and Kristen James; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David R. James; and a sister, Polly A. Darr.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the Rev. Kenneth Kubichek will officiate. Friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Donald will be laid to rest in Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Donald's name to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
