HOWLAND - Walter L. Tenney, 49, of Niles Cortland Road, passed away at 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in the emergency room of St. Joseph Health Center, Andover.
Walt was born Sept. 4, 1963, in Warren, a son of Floyd Denver and Arrah Louise Grubb Tenney.
A 1982 graduate of Chalker High School, he was employed with Carlisle Engineering Products, Middlefield, as a press operator. He attended New Life Tabernacle Church.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, was an ardent fan of the Denver Broncos, and rooted weekly during NASCAR season for Dale Earnhardt Jr.
His dog, Biscuit, was his pride and joy.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Smith; his sons, Paul T. Morgan at home and Mark A. (Crystal) Morgan of Girard; his daughter, Christy (Bobby) Richardson of Niles; his 23 siblings; and his six grandchildren, Logan, Emma, Mark, Cameron, Destiny and Sophia.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Tenney and Wilma Shipman, and a grandson, Ryan Morgan.
A celebration of Walt's life and calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home, 614 Warren Ave., Niles, OH 44446.
