COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP - A North Bloomfield man is dead after his ATV crashed into a horse drawn buggy on Fenton Road about 10 p.m. Sunday.

Thomas D. Molinatto Jr., 24, was driving a 2004 Polaris Predator northbound with passenger Kristen Nemerovsky, 22, of Warren, when the buggy attempted to pull into a private drive in front of them.

Nathan Miller, 16, of Orwell, was driving the buggy southbound with two passengers, Daniel Miller, 16, of Windsor, and Andy Ray Miller, 15, of West Farmington.

When Miller failed to yield in making a left hand turn, the ATV hit the buggy and both went off the roadway. Molinatto and Nemerovsky were ejected from the ATV and the buggy overturned.

Nemerovsky was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, while Molinatto was pronounced dead at the scene. Both were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

The Orwell Fire Department, South Central Ambulance, and the Ashtabula County Coroner's Office responded to the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
