Vendors are lining the Mesopotamia Commons at the intersection of state Routes 87 and 534 during the 40th annual Mesopotamia Fire Association Ox Roast. The Ox Roast wraps up today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Live music will be provided by Drake Hollow at 11 a.m.
Anthony Byler unwinds wire from cooked meat while Brady Miller turns the spit Saturday during the Mesopotamia Ox Roast. The roasts are cooked 24 at a time for eight hours; about 5,800 pounds of meat is served each year.
