WARREN - Mary Lee O'Malley, 92, passed away July, 2, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Mount Clare, W.Va., the daughter of the late Daymond and Elizabeth Halko Monmirth.
Mary Lee graduated from Shinnston High School in West Virginia and attended Oklahoma A&M College and New York Hunter College.
She was a proud World War II veteran and served as a Navy Wave as a decoder and obtained the rank of yeoman second class. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 31 in Shinnston, W.Va.
Mary Lee retired from GE Trumbull Lamp after 28 years. Mary was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Warren.
She is survived by one brother, Daymond E. (Paula) Monmirth of Norfolk, W.Va.; two sisters-in-law, Joan Monmirth and Olga O'Malley, both of Warren; two nieces, Dana Lee Barkhart of Lumber Port, W.Va., and Mary Glenda Wade of Little Rock, Ark.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold O'Malley, in 2000; stepson Tom O'Malley; and three brothers, Ralph, Harry and Thomas Monmirth.
Funeral services will be held noon Friday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive, Warren, OH 44483. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Entombment will follow in the Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mary's name in lieu of flowers.
