WARREN - A city school employee suspended, then later fired, after she was arrested on weapons charges is looking at the possibility of returning to work pending the outcome of a criminal case against her.
The Warren Civil Service Commission decided today that the Warren City School Board of Education, based on the information they had at the time, had cause to suspend Honeya D. Price, 41, of Perkinswood Boulevard N.E., after she was arrested in January.
However, the commission also determined Price should be reinstated as a family liaison for the school district pending the outcome of her criminal case in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
The school board has the option to appeal the commission's decision.
