Wed. 10:43am: Man pleads guilty in teen's death

YOUNGSTOWN - A man charged in the abuse death of a Struthers teen pleaded guilty this morning.

Zaryl Bush, 43, pleaded guilty to murder, four counts of child endangering and two counts of intimidation for the death of Teddy Foltz earlier this year.

The plea comes two days after the boy's mother, Shain Widdersheim, 32, pleaded guilty to four counts of child endangering and obstructing justice.

Foltz, 14, died Jan. 26 of head trauma after he was taken first to Akron Children's Hospital Boardman Campus and then St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Neither has been sentenced but Widdersheim is expected to serve 10 years in prison.

Shortly after Foltz's death, officers said that for the last three years, Bush had cut Foltz and his mother off from the outside world and from the prying eyes of strangers.
