NILES - Anne C. Geyer, 91, passed away June 16, 2013, at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles.
She was born Dec. 6, 1921 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Edgar Christein and Rachel Thomas Christein.
Anne was employed as a school teacher in the Wheeling, W.Va., School System. She was a member of Vance Presbyterian Church in Wheeling.
She graduated from Champion High School and Youngstown State University. She received the Teacher of the Year Award in West Virginia and held a private pilot's license.
She is survived by her children, twin daughter Gay Robin (James) Labrum of Colorado Springs, Colo., and twin son David Geyer of Florida; a brother, David (Doris) Christein of Warren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Aiken, and her second husband, David Geyer; one grandson, Joshua Labrum; two brothers, Paul and Jack Christein; and two sisters, Pauline Lendi and Rachel Hart.
Per Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
