WARREN - Minister J.C. Folmar, 68, of 216 Federal St. S.E., died at 10:25 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a cardiac arrest.
He was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Luverne, Ala., the son of John Henry and Bessie Lee Hurd Folmar.
Minister Folmar retired from Mittel Steel as a patcher. He was founding member of New Life Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his mother, Bessie Lee Jenkins of Warren; his wife, the former Gloria D. Crenshaw; two sons, Paul Hill of Youngstown and LeSean D. Folmar Sr. of Akron; three daughters, Sherdina E. Sims of Warren, Enondia E. Taylor of Alexandria, La., and Tiffany R. Folmar of Cuyahoga Falls; five brothers, Billy J. Folmar, Dwayne McElroy, Dwight McElroy, Andre McElroy and Lamont McElroy, all of Warren; four sisters, Johnnie Kate Provitt of Howland, Yvonne McCoy of Warren, Arifah Muhammed of Youngs-town and Helen Folmar of Warren; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at New Life Fellowship Church, were friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m.
Burial will take place at Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
