CORTLAND - Frank A. "Butch" McLean, 73, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Frank was born Aug. 21, 1939, in Warren, to the late Sydney McLean and Emma Mason McLean-Como.
On Aug. 8, 1974, Frank married the love of his life, Pamela Elwood McLean.
Frank worked for the city of Warren Police Department for 30 years, was a part of the Carroll F. Clapp Lodge No. 655, FOP, Scottish Rite Valley of Youngstown, Otterbein United Methodist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Frank's greatest joy in life was spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.
Frank is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela McLean; daughters, Colleen McLean and Megan McLean; granddaughter, Meara Jones; grandson, Brendan Jones; and brothers, Sydney McLean and Fred McLean.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Albert Como; and brother, David McLean.
Funeral services for Frank will be noon Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive N.E., with calling hours one hour prior. Calling hours also will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home with Masonic service beginning at 5 p.m.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park with military honors by the Trumbull County Honor Guard.
