WARREN - A hydrant flushing program kicks off Friday and runs all summer.
The program will be on the city's north side and gradually will move south. The hydrants will be flushed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Residents may notice low water pressure and brown water during this process. Brown water is caused by sediments being stirred and are not a health concern.
If water turns brown, residents are advised to run cold water until it clears. Do not wash clothes or cook with the water until it has cleared.
