MENTOR - Rudolph M. Nosse, 86, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013, at Altercare of Mentor.
He was born on March 19, 1927, in Bedford, the son of Louis and Louise Vidmar Nosse, and was an 11-year resident of Warren, formerly of Lake County.
Rudolph served in the U.S. Army, participating in the European Theatre during World War II.
He was a member of Jay Wilson, American Legion Post 112 in Madison; VFW Post 8548 in Madison; VFW Post 7200 in West Farmington; and AMVETS Post 1971 in Perry.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren
Rudolph is survived by his children, Carol Cooper and Barbara Langner, both of California, Ruth Byrd of Warren, Michael Neville of Mississippi, Susan Neville of Seattle, Christine Nosse of Ohio and Cynthia Criss of Painesville; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Rudolph will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville, OH 44077, where friends will be received one hour prior to services.
