Thu. 10:25am: YSU gets $440M grant

YOUNGSTOWN - Siemens announced this morning that it is giving a $440 in-kind grant to Youngstown State University's College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The grant is a component in the continuing efforts of the new National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute in downtown Youngstown to prepare a modern workforce in the Cleveland-Pittsburgh TechBelt and throughout the United States.

The grant will be used specifically to prepare students for engineering jobs that use the additive manufacturing process.
